December Issue
It is the Season of Giving in Lioden again. This means all Liodians are able to decide whether to gift or poop of other players. Gifting them simply means to donate items you have either spent all year saving or you can poop on their lawn. Choose wisely because Lioden seems to frown upon pooping in the dens of other players because they have attached it to your karma. Pooping in other lions dens results in negative karma so if you are interested in being a good lion - don't poop in the yard. 💩
No matter whether you decide to gift or poop there is a prize for either giving 666 gifts or pooping 666 times. You can only poop or gift a lion's den once during the event. Once you have gifted or pooped 666 times you can unlock the Snuhlands in the game Reptile Roundup, which doesn't sound like a big deal; however, if you LOVE decor items it is a good way of earning them rather than paying for them.
If you are a base breeder or simply love collecting different base applicators there is the Festive base applicator that you can earn for GIFTING 888 players from the beginning of the event until December 25, 2021. On Christmas day you can open all of your gifts or poops. Gifts are fairly self-explanatory. You will get an item when you open it. Opening poop has a chance of awarding you with Stink Bugs which you can use to purchase items from the Mantis Shop.
Festive Base
There are also a lot of really cool decor items that you can purchase form the Mantis Shop. These are purchased with Stink Bugs. You can view exactly what these items are from the Lioden Wiki
here. You can find a lot of information there regarding the event.
The Wiki doesn't tell you all the tips and tricks to the event so I'm going to spill the tea on that. Most players will look at the Wiki to determine the items they want and they will figure out how many Stink Bugs they will need for the things they want. They will usually wait until the last day of the event to spend all of their event currency for the items that they want.
Event Bases
Arctic Base
The Arctic base and mane applicators are typically used by people who breed for Colorbomb lions. These are lions with extremely bright or unnatural bases that have equally vibrant markings.
Aufeis
This is a cool looking base with Black Medium Countershaded genetics. If you happen to be working on a project involving these genetics this base may be useful in your project. You can find both the base (Aufeis Sheet) and mane (Aufeis Overflow) applicators in the Mantis Shop once the third tier is unlocked.
Frostbitten
In my opinion this is the coolest base offered during this event. I really love lions that are darkly colored at the top and gradually lighten toward their belly. This base does that perfectly and it manages to look like there is snow on the lion. However, this base doesn't appear to be one of the more popular bases during this event. If you are interested in investing in applicators during this event, I would leave this one alone. It doesn't sell well. I know this because I bought it last year and I couldn't even give it away. It has the Black Dark Solid genetics in case you are curious.
Glacial
This is another base that is popular with colorbomb breeders due to it's vibrant nature. This is a Black Light Countershaded Base. The base (Glacial Facial) and mane (Glaciation) can both be purchased from the Mantis Shop in tier 3. It is not one of my favorite bases, but it is one that is part of my current breeding project so I plan on buying a few of them, not that you asked - lol.
